Q. If I purchase more than one book at a time, will a book be donated to a child for every book I buy?
A. Yes, a book will be donated to a child for each book you purchase, even if you purchase several books at a time.
Q. How will you determine which children will receive the donated books?
A. To make the donations, our staff has partnered with nonprofit organizations in the black community, at home and abroad, to find children who do not have access to new books. At the end of every month, based on that month’s sales, we will check the donation tally to see how many books will be donated for that month. We will select an appropriate organization or community of children to receive a delivery of new books that have been chosen by the North Paran staff.

Q. Is North Paran registered as a charity?
A. No, North Paran is a for-profit venture. We are using the free market as a means to solve some of the social issues in our community.
A. If you are a publisher or an author who would like to sell your books through North Paran, you must become registered with our warehouse. Click here to find out how. Please note that we will require bibliographic information to include your books on North Paran, as well as other information to promote each title.
Q. What kind of information will be included in your newsletter and how often will it come out?
A. Our weekly newsletter will include author interviews, video chats, book excerpts, hot new releases and many other features.
Q. I’m an author —how do I establish my own author page?

Q. How do I correct or update information on my author page or the product pages for my books?
A. If you have any corrections, you can email them to Authors@northparan.com. Remember to include the ISBN in all your correspondence and to be specific about the changes that need to be made. Please include your name and contact number for verification purposes.
Q. What is an ISBN and how do I get one?
A. ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. North Paran uses ISBNs to track inventory and sales information. To get an ISBN, contact:

Q. Why is my title not available on NorthParan.com?
A. If your title is in our database, our website will show a title as "currently available" only if there is stock in our warehouse.
